Grief is incredibly complicated and misunderstood. Throughout our lifetime, we can experience more than 40 types of loss, from the death of a loved one to relationship breakdowns, moving away from one’s community, and more. Unfortunately, we often use the wrong tool – our brains – to work through grief.
This gathering equips participants with grounding tools and techniques to let go of unhelpful cognitive thoughts, reconnect to their emotions, and use our hearts to recover from a loss. Through various activities, the Ember of Hope team supports participants in working through a broad spectrum of grief and loss.
